Wagsters was created by myself, Barrie McEwan, to provide professional dog walking and pet services covering the Cumbernauld and Kirkintilloch areas.
I spent 20 years in Financial Services in an Account Management role with a number of major insurance companies, but in 2008 I decided to take a new direction in my life and career.
I took the opportunity to launch Wagsters to satisfy a long held desire to work with animals and to provide a top class service to local dog and pet owners.
After spending many years juggling my dogs, horses and work, I fully understand the difficulties in owning dogs and other pets and running a busy work and home life - Wagsters Dog Walking was created to allow your dog to have exercise, fun and stimulation on a regular basis with no added worries for you. My home visit service for cats and small pets can also help you when you are away from home. See my bespoke home visit service for cats at : www.thecathomevisitcompany.co.uk
I have owned dogs all my life, mainly Labrador Retrievers but also a Springer Spaniel, Dalmation and Scottish Terrier over the years. My current dog is Jack, a young Black Labrador . I also have ridden and owned horses for over 14 years, my current one being an 21 year old Thoroughbred ex-racehorse Aberkeen who I have had for over 10 years.
All the Wagsters Dog Walking services are provided within 100 acres of private farmland at Sauchenhall Farm - only 10 minutes from Cumbernauld and Kirkintilloch. Kirsty Logue runs her own successful horse livery business, Sauchenhall Liveries, based at Sauchenhall Farm in between Cumbernauld and Kirkintilloch. (For further details on livery services see above).
